A Walk in the Park

On February 25, 2010, the snow fell heavily in New York and blanketed the area in a thick layer of white, frozen powder. An exploration of Prospect Park in Brooklyn found many enjoying the snow day and many like me marveling at the visual delights created by a new palette of contrasts and color.

The first 9 images in this collection were exhibited at the Southlight Gallery during April, May, and June 2010. Look closely at these images to find an artifact of man, sometimes obvious, sometimes subtle.
